This policy explains how PT Island Dream Collective ("IDC", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use islanddreamcollective.com, contact us, list or buy a villa with us, or stay at a villa we manage. We handle personal information in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).

What we collect

Enquiries: your name, email, WhatsApp or phone number, and what you tell us about your villa, budget or plans when you use our forms, email or WhatsApp.
Villa owners: contact and property details, bank details for paying rental income, and the information needed to manage your villa and report to you.
Buyers: your brief and any documents you share so we can check a villa for you. These are kept in private storage.
Guests and tenants: booking details, contact details and, where the law requires it, passport and visa details for registering your stay.
Website use: pages visited, device and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel using cookies.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and provide our management, buying and booking services.
To prepare agreements, pay owners, collect rent and keep accounts.
To meet legal obligations, including tax records and guest registration.
To understand how our website and advertising perform, so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only as needed to run our services: booking platforms (such as Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO) for stays booked through them, our on-ground team and trusted suppliers, payment and banking providers, our accountants and notary, and the software providers that host our website, forms, database and email. Some of these providers store data outside Indonesia; we choose providers with appropriate security. We share information with authorities where the law requires it.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure visits and the results of our ads. They use cookies and similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

Our internal reporting tool ("IDC Data Sync") connects to our own Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts with read-only access, to bring our marketing results into our own private database. It does not access anyone else's Google or Meta data.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, financial records). Then we delete or anonymise it.

Keeping it safe

Access is limited to people who need it. We use password-protected, access-controlled systems, and we never ask for passwords or card details by WhatsApp or email.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or object to its use for marketing. Email hello@islanddreamcollective.com and we will respond within 14 days.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
